Performance ring reviews from verified FirmTech buyers

Last updated: November 3, 2026Published by FirmTech

Performance ring reviews for FirmTech average 4.6 out of 5 across 101 written reviews from verified buyers, as of November 2026.

FirmTech Ring Reviews collects those reviews alongside the published facts for each of FirmTech’s three rings: the $275 TechRing, which measures firmness, duration and nighttime erections through an app, and the $60 Performance Ring and $60 MaxPR, which support firmer erections with no tech. Use it to choose the ring that fits your goal.

This guide is published by FirmTech, which makes every ring it covers. It is not independent. Ratings and quotes come from FirmTech’s own reviews and product pages, as of November 2026.

Are FirmTech performance rings worth it, according to reviews?

For most buyers, yes: 92 of FirmTech’s 101 written reviews give four or five stars, as of November 2026. The remaining 9 are three stars or below, including 3 one-star reviews. Reviewers most often talk about firmer results, comfort, fit, the app and the overnight data.

It depends on what you want. The TechRing wins if you want performance support plus data you can show a doctor. The Performance Ring wins if you want simple, comfortable support for $60. The MaxPR fits a narrower case: men who want the tightest hold for sessions of up to 90 minutes.

The facts behind the reviews

What is a performance ring?

A performance ring is an erection ring worn at the base of the penis. Gentle, even pressure slows blood from flowing back out, so erections are firmer and last longer while it is worn. FirmTech’s rings, reviewed on FirmTech Ring Reviews, use an anatomical peno-scrotal fit that loops around the base and behind the testicles. They are designed with urologists and work without pills or a prescription. Other names you will see include c rings, constriction rings, tension rings and ED rings. The effect is mechanical, so it lasts only as long as the ring stays on.

The three FirmTech rings, ranked for most shoppers

Each ring is ranked on the same criteria: published buyer rating, safe wear time, tracking, warranty and price. Your own goal can change the order, so each entry says who it suits.

  1. 1.

    TechRing, $275

Best overall for performance plus health data

It is the only FirmTech ring with a published buyer rating (4.6 of 5 from 101 reviews), the longest warranty (1 year) and built-in tracking of firmness, duration and nighttime erections. It also allows up to 12 hours of wear. The trade-off is price: $275, against $60 for the other two.

  2. 2.

    Performance Ring, $60

Best value for simple, comfortable support

At $60 it offers the same 12-hour wear time and peno-scrotal fit as the TechRing, with a comfort-rated 3 of 5 tightness and nothing to charge. It ranks below the TechRing because it has no tracking, a 3-month warranty and no separate published rating average.

  3. 3.

    MaxPR, $60

Best for maximum tightness and intensity

Also $60, it is rated 5 of 5 for both tightness and pleasure. It ranks third for most shoppers only because its safe wear time is up to 90 minutes, it has a 3-month warranty and no tracking. For men who want the most intensity in a single session, it is the pick.

How to choose a ring in four steps

  1. Measure your fit. All three rings fit up to 5.5 inches (14 cm) of erect girth. Check yours with the size chart before buying.

  2. Decide if you want data. Only the TechRing measures firmness, duration and nighttime erections. If you want numbers, start there.

  3. Pick your tightness. The Performance Ring is the comfort fit at 3 of 5. The MaxPR is the tightest at 5 of 5.

  4. Match the wear time. Need longer sessions or overnight wear? The TechRing and Performance Ring allow up to 12 hours. The MaxPR allows up to 90 minutes.

MaxPR reviews

MaxPR reviews are positive but few are published on their own. The verified buyer review on FirmTech’s MaxPR page, from Mike, 44, gives it 5 out of 5 and calls it “Tighter than the original in the best way. A real difference.” FirmTech does not publish a separate MaxPR star average, so we do not show one.

What the facts say: the MaxPR costs $60, is slimmer and snugger than the Performance Ring, and is rated 5 of 5 for tightness and pleasure. Its safe wear time is up to 90 minutes. Read the full MaxPR reviews guide to see who it suits and who should pick another ring.
